Perhaps the idea of Jesus as Apostle is one that is foreign to you. But the writer of the Book of Hebrews declares to us that Jesus Christ is the Apostle and High Priest of our Profession according to Hebrews 3:1.
There is a dimension to the apostolic nature of Jesus Christ that I would like to capture in Jesus one-on-one encounters with several people during the time He walked the face of the earth and functioned as Apostle.
We will examine at length the methods and ways Jesus used in His Apostolic anointing and we will learn how to appropriate them for ourselves so that we too can be equipped to function as Jesus functioned.
The apostolic is not just in words and revelation knowledge, but it is also in demonstration and power. And no one better demonstrated and walked in both dimensions as The Apostle and High Priest of our Profession the Lord Jesus Christ!

There probably exist over hundreds of different perspectives on the apostolic ministry. Few however managed to explore the person of Jesus Christ in the context of the apostolic. In this book Apostle Michael Scantlebury truly encapsulates the unchartered territory of the ministry of Jesus Christ and that is His apostleship. Upon reading this book you will learn that the apostolic ministry was pioneered and engineered by Jesus Christ Himself and that the Apostles were only a prototype of the original apostolic man Jesus Christ, the Apostle and High Priest of Our Profession.
